Skills That Shine Mentorship: Overview

You are a gold mine.

Your expertise, experience, and encouragement are priceless for students who do not otherwise have access to role models—like you—to support their professional growth. Serving as a Mentor is a great way to help our state’s future workforce sharpen their soft skills and let their talent shine as they embark on their career path.

Volunteer your time and expertise in a meaningful, structured way through the Skills That Shine (STS) Mentorship Program. You’ll make a tangible impact on your Mentee’s professional development through a structured program that fits into your schedule. WSOS will provide relevant, guided content developed by the Boston Consulting Group to support the Mentee’s networking, resume writing, and interview skill development and make for engaging sessions.

Interested in helping students to shine? Let's get started.

WSOS is looking for individuals who:

  • are currently or were previously employed in a STEM or health care field;
